Routes 19, 46 and 48 to be cut back?
Looks like Diamond comming off the 94 as well. At least NX already operate that one. So users have a very good alternative.

As one of those who is going to be seeing cuts for all 3 services within my local area, I have already started drafting a letter to my local MP & Cllrs

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

A number of these routes went out for tender yesterday

Its much worse than that.
Bottom line is a cut in government funding from December if you read the report.

A subject HRH The West Mids Mayor seems to be keeping well clear of?
Write to him as well if not happy.

Was surprised to see that the section of the 19 that is no longer commercially viable is the QE to Halesowen part. Most of that section has had a commercial service in some shape or form for decades now.

Not surprised the Wolves 50 is on the list as its never carried that many passengers.

It was one of the routes completely taken off at the start of the pandemic, along with the Wa 70a, wasn't it?

Rachvince53

Yes, the 50 was taken off. I thought that with NXWM running the service it might have picked up more passengers but it still is little used.

Looks like there may be more cuts than at a hairdressers. I saw a petition yesterday about saving buses in South Birmingham, including the 27 and 76.

I assume that's the one started by a certain anti-bus-lane MP from the party who have ended the funding. Satire is not dead.

TfWM have compiled a handy place to keep track of these changes on.
