Is it because the routes operate closer to WB depot or are there other reasons?

Routes 7 & 70 are both booked for B10Ls, so neither of those is unusual, 1785 isn't still branded, although whoever removed the branding didn't get all the glue off so some dirt is sticking to it making it readable again

Yes, Nathan JC you are right but Diamond discovered they don't have the capacity of the Royales and aren't sufficient for certain journey.
The Royales went onto the 404E but drivers complained about them being too big to turn round in Bradford Place when it is crowded and it is very tight turning them in Caldmore on journeys back to West Brom. So, two big investments in vehicles the Royales and the Hybrids and they don't really know what to do with them.

So thats the reason why the royales got taken off the 404E but the royales are still used on the service on sundays i guess when its quieter although the centros used to operate the service before the arrival of the mcv's. The hybrids are suppose to be used on both the 56 and 301 according to the diamond facebook website and at the moment the cadets from the 301 seem to be used on the 404E

Also b6le 624 is withdrawn from WB it is now parked up with the other withdrawn mercs at the outer parking area of west brom garage not suprised as 624 hasnt sounded good for a bit now and is in the travel west midlans livery and has not been refurbished.

Not very unusual to be honest. You often get a couple on the 71/72, whilst 2107 was working the 37 today along with a couple of Eclipses on the 1.

John

1953 was on the S1 and 2108 was also on the 37. I think that 7020 was also on the 31.

7020 must have been on earlier in the day because I've just got back and 7019 and 7020 had just arrived in convoy on the 37. Possibly a rare sight to see both of them together!
