Yes it is. They had the idea after seeing the old Beacon Radio Sound Machine (to give it its full title!) converted from ex WMPTE Fleetline 6429.

It still is! It's was bought, and is still owned by, Promarco in Netherton from Beacon when Beacon were bought by GWR radio group in 1995/6 and branded to Beacon FM. It is kept at Storage King in James Bridge, Darlaston and does regular work around the UK.
