In todays N&P HATS group has applied to use 1 Lancaster Circus as an operating centre. For those of you that do not know this is a large office building on Lancaster Circus occupied by BCC.
The definition of an operating centre is "where your vehicles are normally kept when not in use" How then can 1 Lancaster Circus that has underground parking for about 20 cars be the operating centre for 125 vehicles ???

They appear to have taken over the coach and lorry park just down the road, there were at least 60 minibuses in there toda, possibly more

It will be interesting then to see where all the drivers and escorts, if indeed they have any yet, park their cars to do the work. I suspect there will be chaos when the kids go back.

Hats minibuses that was parked at the coach park Lancaster Circus have moved as place was empty

Sorry, I read it as the "new operating centre" was Brewery Street, per B61 ANDREW. I guess that hasn't been updated then?

Apologies all.  As the saying goes " do not always believe what you read in the papers" . . . . . . .   :-[

HATS new yard is at the top of Allesley Street, not far from Brewery Street

B61 ANDREW

I doubt if it will appear in our area but HATS have aquired a new MAN/Mobi C35F coach  -   OY71BZA.

I have photographed it today, but as you say not in our area. They are believed to have 2, but the other hasn't been identified yet by the PSV circle

Hi Tony.  Appreciate that this site takes up a lot of your spare time , but just wondered if "HATS" deserve their own titled thread now ??

I can either rename this one and move it to the 'Other Operators' board, or anyone else is welcome to start a new topic if they wish.
