With regards the comment on the Arriva Cannock thread this is the current totals

Double deck 1084 (AG 96, BC 223, CV 128, PB 128, PN 64, WA 99, WB 117, WN 118, YW, 111)
Single deck    486 (AG 50, CV 50, PB 68, PN 52, WA 106, WB 48, WN 88, YW 24)
Total            1570

Don't know if anyone has the totals going back but it is many years since there was 1084 double decks in operation in the West Midlands fleet

What double deckers do they have?

Current garage totals are AG 97/50, BC 223/0, CV 128/50, PB 128/68, PN 64/52, WA 99/106, WB 117/48, WN118/88, YW 111/24. Then WA Coach 20, PH Coach 10. Training 27 so a total of 1627 active vehicles. As a comparison at the time of deregulation in 1986 there were 1760 active vehicles on the West Midlands Travel license, so only a drop of 123 vehicles in in 34 years. Out of all the PTE areas that is by far the smallest percentage drop.

Quite impressive! I must say as a whole I think national express do a cracking job.

Lemme rephrase that. What type of double deckers do they have?
Tridents?
Gemini's?
Scanias?

You can look at the fleet lists as much as the rest of us can.

Private Hire coach fleet (257-266)

Most Interesting. I do quite like seeing these types of yearly fleet totals. Having done some quick maths, I put the garage totals as; PN 116, YW 135, AG 147, WB 165, CV 178, PB 196, WA 205, WN 206 & BC 223. This seems pretty much the same ranking as when I started on this forum, with the exception being BY being gone, and CV overtaking WB. Nice to see BC having regained the throne from WN.

I do appreciate when folks go about breaking down these types of stats.

Many thanks for confirming what I thought it meant.
