6984 & 6982 Photo location errors

Tony,

Two photos that you posted yesterday are not in Wolverhampton, but thanks to a bit of investigation using some 1999 imagery on Google Earth (for 6984), Google Streetview and the West Midlands A-Z, I have managed to work out where they were taken:

6984 is in Birmingham City Centre (going eastbound on Navigation Street approaching the junction with Hill Street): http://www.wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/gonebatches/Fleetlines/6984.html
