So does this give any clue as to when they could be in transit across the Irish Sea en route to the West Midlands or are they literally only in the 'build' stage?

It's in Reading isn't it for staff training?

It would still make sense for it to eventually make an appearance up here. Whilst Wright buses are due soon, a decision will still need to be made for future orders.

I personally don't think it's still with Reading as 

1) no local Reading enthusiast as reported at slighting or photo (there are some Reading drivers who placed photos to social media sites)  
2) wasn't seen at the recent Reading depot open day - however neither were their new ADL 400ER's nos 1 and 2  both of which have been delivered.

Reading are still doing work at the depot for the charging system, however I'm told from next week driver training is to start on the electrics for the lunch in August.
