Is there a bus app that tracks every bus in the West Midlands regardless of the operator? Because only NXWM and Diamond has one but Igo, Claribels, Thandi and other operators don't have an app so yeah that's my question.

You'll  have a long wait for an Igo

There's no point. They don't exist anymore.

It was you that asked about their app!

I asked if there was a general WM bus app that tracks every bus in the West Midlands regardless of the operator. Then I said that some operators don't apps that tracks their buses like Claribels, Travel de Courcey, Johnson's and Igo when they were around.

The Network West Midlands app shows scheduled and realtime information (where available) for all bus operators in the NWM area:
https://www.networkwestmidlands.com/plan-your-journey/our-apps/

There is also Paul Harrington's "YourStop" website/app:
https://yourstop.info/

And of course there are a multitude of other transport apps, such as Moovit and Citymapper, that will give you bus stop departure information across much of the country.

Now, if you're talking about being able to see the position of buses on a map, that is very much dependent on bus operators being able to provide that information via open data feeds. At the moment in the West Midlands, I am only aware of NX Bus, Diamond and Arriva being able to offer this.

To be honest, I find it a bit of a novelty, I just need to know how long its going to be before the bus arrives, I don't necessarily need to see its location pinpointed on a map.

If you're into this sort of thing, have a look at: https://bustimes.org/map
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

2093 ( 8 ) is not tracking on the NX App. Is there a reason for this? Also it shows two number 8 services at Stourbridge Bus Station. Can't take screen shot of it though.

This was at 08:30.

2093 is showing that it tracked for 93% of its last journey, you must have been in the 7%

I've seen the double up happen occasionally, no idea what causes it

I have see doubling up of this service loads of times.

With regards to the Bus it's not shouting as a bus at all but is tracking so you are probably right about the 93%. Although is that for tracking and showing the actual bus on the app?
