You'd be better with the X8 as it runs express along Hagley Road whereas the 126 serves every stop.

But doesn't the X8 go through the old 140 route? How long was it?

Dom

I've lost count of the ammount of times I've beaten an X8 to Dudley when on a 126 leaving city or Dudley at the same time.

The 140 took 40 mins to Dudley but it stopped at every stop on Hagley Road.

From Traveline, on a Sat morning the X8 is timetabled for 44 mins, the 126 is timetabled for 46 mins so very little difference really.
