Folks, we don't need lists of buses which are showing on BusTimes.org please.  ;)

National Express West Midlands's feed has been set as 'published' on BODS:
https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/avl/dataset/3338/

So it is fair to say that all their active vehicles should be tracking on BusTimes now.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

There are contact details on Bustimes website to either email or tweet them. I dont envy them trying to run the site but I got a reply to feedback I sent which wasn't a list of incorrect fleetnumbers. Not surprisingly they don't commit to reply to every email but say all emails are read.

Init, unlike ticketer, doesn't hold the bus identity in the driver interface equipment, so you should never see an incorrect fleetnumber like you do with many operators when the cab equipment is swapped.

There are currently about 20 of the fleet where the tracker isn't working, so these won't show until that is fixed. 4530 currently on the 4 is one.

Man, I just loaded the map on bustimes.org and once I had zoomed in, there were buses everywhere!

Some are wrongly tracking as Metroline buses this morning for some reason

That's down to PB using the same operator code as Metroline, 'because clown show' according to the developer.

It would appear to me that as well as NX West Midlands, most West Midlands operators vehicles are tracking on the map now.

Not really surprising that Metroline use PB for Potters Bar, and NXWM use PB for Perry Barr

Really interesting to look at! I've noticed that WN services start with N, WA services with W, PN services with D and WB services with H. What do the H and N stand for, for WB & WN? I'm guessing the others are Walsall & Dudley...?

Probably uses the old WMPTE way of doing things as they did with Fleetnumbers. wolverhamptoN west bromwicH

As they did with the corporation fleets H, L, N, Y

Just looked at Walsall depot.

That's never how they park the vehicles surely?

The vehicle location data is not 100% accurate  ;)

Apart from those obvious exceptions, it is probably fair to say that the "Buses To Find" topic is mostly redundant now then?  ;D
