Still there at 4pm, with towing wagon in attendance. Delays of at least 20 mins on Harborne routes.

There was a Platinum on the other side too parked up before the bus stop. Don't know if that was broken down too.

The WB89 broke down in Church Road Smethwick yesterday city bound, couldn't catch the bus number, as I was sitting at the back of the bus the passengers were transferred onto. The empty bus then went up Church Road to the traffic lights and turned into Bearwood Road, I guess heading back to garage.

4506(?) was parked up near the airport on Saturday evening with hazards on, presumably having been on the X12. Not long after I saw it, I  over heard a passenger on the X1 that got on at the airport, that was on the X12 before saying the bus had broke down.
Favourite buses currently:
871, 1828, 4421, 4764, 6101, 6108, 6116, 6118, 6121, 6848, 6849

Something I've always wondered about, is what happens it the last bus of the night breaks down? Is a replacement bus found and the service runs late or do they not put another bus on?

I've been lucky and it never happened to me waiting for the last 448 at the old West Brom bus station back in the '80's, but reading this thread has made me wonder what would happen.

Last bus has to run.

Last bus has to run.

Try telling that to certain operators!

On Monday evening I seen Diamonds 30897 broken down in Solihull, with the engine flap up and an engineer in attendance. Apparently something to do with the starter motor. It was fixed after the engineer was working on it and fiddling around with parts of the engine, with a little help from the van jump starting it!
Later that evening 4473 was switched off by kids from the engine compartment in chelmsley wood whilst on the 97, then was struggling to start back up again.
Later on that night I seen 4772 in Coventry being driven back to the garage by an engineer with the van following.

I'm not sure the other Enviro driving over the pavement is the most acceptable of practices...
