I parked with the hazard lights on plenty of times and the bus hadn't broken down.

Most of time, at a timing point which was at a stop that multiple services use, so if anything does pull up behind, the driver would be aware that I may not be moving and so he/she leaves enough space. On the MMCs also, if I'm using the radio, as you can't talk and drive on them.

Pffft! You can use your fingers to use radio on mmc!

I had 2206 when it was brand new and done it with that one. Since then I didn't go near it unless it was with my foot lol

I've had about four brake down experiences I just remembered
The first one was when on the 08:10 39 service to Walsall back in 2014 when I was taking my cousins son to school a Volvo B10L think  it was 1446 engines cut out by the mosque just after the Pleck bridge we were all transferred onto 1434 behind.
Another experience is when I was riding on the 301 in 2015 1757 broke down in Bloxwich everybody else boarded 1752 behind but I waited for 4125 as 1752 was rammed. My third experience is when I was riding on a Volvo B6LE in 2009 on a 334 to Bilston I think the B6LE was 635 and we got to the lung when it broke down
My fourth experience is when riding a Thandi dart on the 334 in 2014 we got to Aberdeenbrooke Street when the bus broke down however I remember after walking to Darlaston it went past me not in service going to Walsall.

A Platinum has broken down on the Perry Barr Flyover opposite Perry Barr One Stop on the X51. It's broken down on the single lane section coming from the Walsall Road meaning everything is now having to use the Aldridge Road entrance going into City.
