Was it definitely broken down? The new timetable means they'll often sit at the stops on Westley Road to make up time.

Don't forget just because a bus is parked up with hazards on, don't automatically assume it is broken down.

4972 has just broken on the 74, picked up a wheelchair in Dudley so the ramp was used, coming out of Dudley Bus Station the sensor for the ramp wasn't being registered so the driver isolated it on Castle Gate, turned back on and the sensor still didn't register, passengers transferred onto the next 74, 4973 ironically.

4972 now awaiting response from AVL

Driver did ask everyone to disembark onto the bus behind as he failed to start the bus.

I counted my lucky stars as I assumed he waited for but it wasn't that  :D

6751 on tow up the Queslett road towards Scott Arms 18:50

1918 broke on the slip road leading into Dudley Bus Station this evening on a 313. Doors wouldn't close, once it reached a certain point they reopened, inspector tried everything to get them to close including releasing the air pressure. The bus was still sat there at 17:20 when I left, awaiting a tow or engineer to come from Walsall.

4831 was being towed from pool meadow bus station at around 20:25 this evening. I think it was on the 8/8A, as it was being towed from the 8/8A stand.

6722 been stood on Lower Bull Street since 15:30 with a broken retarder and loose mirror. Engineers have just arrived to take it back to Walsall Garage.
