Both 4764 and 4766 on the 51 today. Seems to be alot of Leather Seated E400's on the 51 recently during the week

I saw 4774 on the 51 yesterday. An older Enviro is on the 51 every day though so thought nothing of it.

Yes i know John its just i was saying they keep appearing more than usual over the past few weeks.

And they are usually on there Sundays mainly but as you say they are appearing Mon-Saturday aswell now

Caught the morning X56 short a few weeks ago, that was a leather E400 (don't know if it usually is, too early for me) and that is a 51 board so could explain some sightings

Any idea why double deckers have been appearing on the 301/302 lately?

Mainly Saturdays,  but I caught one on the 302 back from Walsall the other night!

I can understand the peaks but during the day?

I've been on that route during the day & the single deckers have been practically empty.

In fact, it's been a source of mystery for yesrs why Mossley has a frequent service & Lower Farm doesn't.

I'd be interested to know the loadings north of Bloxwich & whether some buses would be better diverted to Lower Farm instead,  or even continue past Lower Farm through Turnberry onto Mossley that way (You could interwork 301 & 302 at Mossley! )

Failing that,  run them as 301e to & from Bloxwich only.

Two 89's running together into Wolverhampton about 8PM tonight. 1784 was half hour late with 4307 on time.

Don't know what wss hsppening as 3-4 WN 59's were running together aswell about the same time!

244 was seen been towed through Kings Heath with front RTA damage sometime last month. Don't know where it was going

Asked Tony at Walsall last week, no news at the moment of 4129. as for 581 it was awaiting attention at WA, hasn't turned a wheel at WA yet, also last Friday, 582 was receiving attention.

I remember 683 at Walsall must of only had one day of use
On 336 then withdrawn and never seen again.
