These Tridents surely don't have much longer left? With very little news on the new 130 electrics, does it seem likely that the Tridents/Geminis will make it to 2026?

Some of the 130 electrics are expected into service this year, they are all due for delivery this year, so it is unlikely Tridents and Geminis will see 2026

It makes sense to use newer more fuel efficient vehicles on a Sunday when the PVR is lower.
