If it was true it wouldn't even be able to go on the 10S.
Its been said that this has to have short single decks.
10H/36 maybe though?

If its true I wander whether it will get onto the commercial services, such as the 14, 60, etc. as well. Though the green could suggest its only temporary, before going to Dundee maybe?

Anyway the lilac line is getting an upgrade to enviro400 city diesel I think so maybe more to come if it is getting painted into green

I would have thought that if NXWM or Xplore were to be buying second hand then they'd go for a vehicle type already operated.

Nottingham 920 is at Walsall for nothing more than a repaint, it will then go back to Nottingham

Nope, Lilac Line 27 is receiving gas-powered Enviro400City's with the batch of 6 already being delivered to Keltruck, Nottingham.

920 is merely being repainted into NCT's spare colours like 918-919/921-923 which have already been repainted from Lilac Line branding.

Paying a visit to the West Midlands on Friday, was in Walsall briefly changing from the 4 to the X51, so observing a few movements at the bus station, a couple routes look have platinum buses allocated, well the 6 & 10/10A from what i observed although i was in Walsall for about 20 minutes, got me wondering whether the normal 51 should be upgraded to platinum deckers as well?

6 and 10/A would have been spares. Friday was Saturday service so there would have been more spares available.
Same as the 60 at BC, it doesn't mean they are platinum routes.
In regards to the 51, not every route can have new platinum buses either. There aren't enough.

Has Walsall got all the early Platties now?


There isn't any left at the other depots, that have the same type of gearbox as the Walsall ones, is there?


I suppose if Walsall increased its Platty routes, it would necessitate them having a complete change of vehicle stock, due to the gearbox or whatever, that is different to the later batches?
