Omnilinks are usual on the 8/89, @StourValley98.
Pretty sure you already got told by someone else that it is.

If you read my post, you'd see that I'm basing it off what's on the spreadsheet for that thread. I'm not that clued up on what's noteworthy or not in some places so I just base it off there, if it's not correct then it's not my issue.

@StourValley98 If the spreadsheet is not correct, then that's because I have not been notified in the relevant thread here. I have now adjusted the spreadsheet accordingly, and I can see this was reported by Jack, however no-one has verified this information.

As I have explained previously, I am also "not clued up" as to what is noteworthy or not, as I don't work for NXWM and am not privy to route allocation information.

@Jack you seem to have far more knowledge on bus route allocations than I do, and you also seem to have far more spare time than I do which allows you to travel around and observe buses. So I am surprised that you have not bravely volunteered to help out with the editing of the spreadsheet in order to keep it up to date.

In fact, it is worth pointing out that despite my appeal for help, no-one at all has offered to assist me.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

@Stu I can help out accurately with information updating the types on the spreadsheets if i get chance (WN & WA in particular)

While on the subject, as one of my local routes and a daily user of it, i can confirm B7RLE's (both Eclipse Urban and Urban 2 bodied examples) and Omnilinks are the main types on the 89 during the week. Tridents and E400's are commonly used (usually a couple of deckers during the week and main allocation on a Saturday).

Platinum bus on the 10A route showing date and time instead of just "National Express" on the upstairs display. More useful 👍. It has no route branding or USB sockets for those interested.

It was never going to.
No WA or AG (2015) Platinums have USB sockets.
Only the ones new from 2016 onwards at other garages.

I'm aware of that, was just in case somebody wanted to know specifically. Is the 529 Walsall garage as those have USBs?

There's the clue!
Walsall buses do not have USBs, the 529 does!

529 is Wolverhampton operated. Has been since July 2011.

Service 11/11A timetable changes 24 March 2019 with an extra bus added in peak hours. Hopefully this should improve reliability and reduced big gaps in service.

Good news, hopefully it will result in an improvement overall as like you've said, there are big gaps in service at times.
