Yup. Social Travel also let drivers on. Caught it from AG garage to Sarehole Mill many times

Sounds like they bought wrong ticket then came up with pack of lies once they got caught. It's passengers responsibility to check their ticket plus if the discussion really was going on for 4 minutes can you blame the driver for fobbing them off?

How would another passenger know it was an autistic child? Autism is not always obvious, so he cannot determine that the child -is- autistic by judging the book cover. I doubt the driver would "collude" with an inspector over how late he was... I suspect the writer of the post got caught on the bus for something and may have vented his anger about something entirely irrelevant to him.
