They both interwork anyway so its more of an advert displaying where the route goes than what route the bus is on

And then come back around again to pick up on their departure times. Lots of 51s & X51s have 'recovery time' in their timetable, so come in Not in Service to drop off, and then go around the block to start their next journey. Both are actually in service at the moment
