These aren't set in stone are they?

No. This is just what NX propose to do. They may change some ideas due to people's suggestions

Hmm no service going down the Wolverhampton Road after Portway Road? A lot of people shall be p*ssed off with that!
It shows the X7 wouldn't go past Portway Road, the 15 will.
"The 15 will run to the same route as the 126 between Birmingham and Dudley but will be renumbered to fit
with other services along Hagley Road. Buses will run every 15 minutes."
So there would be a service along the Wolverhampton Road.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Virtually.

The main aim for these 'Service Improvements' is to reduce PVR and therefore remove older vehicles from the fleet. Expect similar 'Improvements' in South Birmingham soon too...

I feel they should renumber the 205 either to 10 along side the X10 or the number 5 since they are slowly killing the 2** off
The Funny sounding Enviro 400

15 Wolverhampton to Merry Hill
15A Wolverhampton Merry Hill
16 Wolverhampton to Stourbridge

X10 Gornal Wood

Really? How many PVR does this save then?
If that was the main aim how is it that after all previous reviews the total PVR is roughly the same as two years ago

It seems to me that they know these aren't really gonna help the public at all but merely stating because they get a platinum vehicle it's an improvement. I really couldn't care less if it was a platinum bus or not.

As I'm not an employee of National Express I'm not privy to that information and as it's not your Department I'm surprised as to whether you are!

You only have to see how many vehicles are withdrawn/reserve per month to see the continuous PVR cuts NX are making. The number of new buses does not match the amount withdrawn.

The East B'ham review left BC with quite a reduction in garage allocation.

OH25

Just an idea:

Could the X7 have a similar flexi-route concept to the X12/X70 where if Heath Street up to Soho Way is full of traffic during the peaks to go straight down the Dudley Road and then along Grove Lane to rejoin the route.

Isn't that because AG/PB made gains? Routes like the 71/72. In both their current guises, the total PVR is still 20ish, same as it was before, only now 6 of those buses are ran out of another Garage.

AG previously ran the 966, PVR of 6. Now the PVR of the X12 is what, 9? 10?. Those extra 3-4 buses would have been 3-4 buses that BC lost on routes like the 70/90 or whatever it was called.

PVR of X12 is 10. The X70 is currently 4 buses (non-peak).

It's not my department? It's my job to allocate buses to garages based on the PVR of each garage.

The total company PVR has been in the 13xx range since 2015

You cannot have a 'non-peak' Peak vehicle requirement

Ok then 4 buses during the day.
