Sad to say that 4 of our 5 Primo's have gone to scrap today. They are KX08HMC, KX07KNW, KX57FML, KX06LXP.

We have retained KX59GOA on a small Worcester service for the time being but, in a few months time this vehicle will be removed from the fleet. It may be an ideal project for someone who wished to preserve it as as there cannot be many left in the Country. We also have an amount of Primo parts that will go when the bus does. Anyone genuinely interested then let me know

Could  you not of converted them in to mobile home

I would have thought that would be ideal but not for me thanks

Wheelers / Clearway of Catshill still have their Primo but I don't think it has moved since C19.

I think the majority of Primo's are static / garage ornaments ! Kevs have done well to keep them going

They did stop people falling down pits at a load of operators

To be honest I think the Primo vehicle has an unjustified bad reputation amongst those that never operated them. Having done so over several years they are much loved by passengers as being open and easy to move about in. As an operator they were cheap to operate and if treated correctly were a reliable workhorse especially on rural operations. The fact that local contractual conditions call for Euro 6 is the only reason we have chosen not to continue their operation

This morning I saw PO12 EOK MAN/Tata Hispano Intea on a school run in Redditch. I've seen similar vehicle PO62 HNH doing school runs in Redditch for the last year or so but I wonder if PO12 EOK is a new addition.
If so, it means Kev's own 25% of all the Tata Hispano Intea's imported to the UK (there were only 8!!).

If that's the shout that the H&W Fire Brigade have mentioned on twitter a couple of hours ago, then 10 appliances needed plus a specialist vehicle & WMFS appliances too

I guess sourcing replacement vehicles will no be too much of a problem , but will the depot and yard be fit for purpose ??  I do not know if the workshops and offices have been affected but if so that would further affect operations.  Not forgetting that Swan Street Coaches are "next door" and a lorry firm is also adjacent . . . . . .

Looks pretty serious:

This has got to be pretty devastating for a small business like Kev's, and I hope they are able to recover from this.
