There was a Streetlite on Pye Greens earlier. So even with a spare Sapphire Pulsar thry still cant get a full allocation lol. Im sure there was a Solo on the 1/2 the other day

Would you rather the Streetlite and Solo or prefer no bus at all turning up? Its not just Arriva as well.

NX put platinum buses on non platinum routes regularly as well today I saw, 6810 on the 16 and 6816 on the 33, though i'm sure the passengers on non of those routes minded that they had a premium bus rather than the standard bus.
Same can be said for the Solo on the 1/2, a Solo is better than no bus at all. NX had 3 Tridents on the platinum services to Birmingham Uni and the QE today as well. I saw a Gemini on the X5 where 6810 and 6816 are usually found as well.

Well Sapphire is allegedly a premium service, however a threadbare Commander ( the one used even broke down on the 1/2 the other day) or a Solo is of a much lower standard than anything NX would likely turn out on a Pkatinum ssrvice surely.

Oswestry had on loan Telford Pulsar 2, 3782, complete with 5 branding for Telford to Stafford on the 70/70A Oswestry to Shrewsbury today. Had to back to Oswestry, very fine example too!

Optare Solo SR 2516 on 74 this evening (presumably transferred from Derby to Cannock) and 3719 on the 5 (so transferred to Telford ?)

3719 has been at Cannock quite a bit longer than the rest of that batch. It was always the most knackered sounding of the lot

Shrewsbury P&R Versa, 2969 YJ60 LUH spent the whole day on the X4/X5 services to Telford. 2974 YJ09 MKN (new livery and usual on route 1) was on the 436 to Bridgnorth / 9 Wolverhampton, replaced 3692 this morning been the reason why.
