I was at Millbrook test circuit this morning and there was a NXWM-spec E400mmc there. Crimson livery but no flash, fleetname fleetnumber or reg number. Inside was standard NXWM mmc moquette. It was not new - exterior dirty. Anyone know anything about it?

Nobody seems to know anything about this bus. I'd have taken a photo but it's not allowed and they tape up your phone. But perhaps NXWM should make ADL an offer and number it 6100.

Being a testing facility it's probably knackered

This is interesting, could it possibly be a bus on order from NX ?

probably a prototype used for testing and showing potential buyers

Seems unlikely especially if it's adorning NX specs.

Probably ADL's way of promoting NX  :D

Found this on Flickr, first 17 plate MMC, but what interests me is in the background of it, looks like an e400 MMC but the rear number is a lot higher so are the upper brake lights. Any ideas?
