I recall Central Connect operating on the 37, and the 97 for that matter. I'm sure NX retaliated with frequency increases. I'm sure that's when they introduced the 37 Day Return. There was also a response from NX on the 6, when AMPM got on there. It was around the same time the route was upgraded to Scanias I believe.

I wouldn't be sure about a particular route, but I'd guess services in West Brom take a significant hit from Diamond competition: ie 42/43, 40, 4, and potentially soon with a 20 mins frequency the 16 competing with the 46 to Hamstead

>diamond
>nxwm competition
Hahaha

Seems funny to think about it but yeah it definitely seems that way, what with Diamond being the "original" and NX registering jounrneys on there
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

16w seems a good idea I thought nxwm were going to extend it when the wb depot ran it for a short while

Arriva are pushing heavily on the Sutton corridor as well lately, that's gotta be denting nx profits.

The 110 runs every 10 mins at peak times now. Plus they're the reason why nx runs so many buses along that corridor.

And I think we can all guess where a new batch a two tone grey buses might be likely to turn up

Every 15 isn't it? They haven't got enough sapphire buses to cover a 10 min one

Other Walsall Tony

Does the 110 really count? It is a very long established route, back to the 1920s at least, I think.

And probably the only successful busy service they operate in the West Midlands
