Yes, but at the end they were the same as all the other buses in the fleet with the usual square shaped button.
A couple of other buses in the fleet also have them, 4611 has those long rectangle buttons. I'm sure one of the BC E200s has one as well, 804 I think.

What buses used to have them long rectangular stop buttons then? I thought it was presidents obviously not. I prefer them tbh.

Some of the Presidents used to have the occasional one, but at the end never saw one which still had one.
They weren't just found on the presidents though quite a few BC 46** Tridents used to have them.

Today 4611 has them and 804 also has one.

Why? It's not a defect.

Lmao I know that.

I mean I performed the walk around check and obviously part of that is pressing the stop button on all the bells.

Was travelling on 4620 today and the doors were able to be opened as the bus was still moving before it came to the stop.

I've noticed many of BC's Tridents can do this. If anything I thought doors could still be opened when the buses are moving until I read here otherwise.

The tridents can as they don't have an interlock system.

4523 is looking like a right mess. The rear of it. Branding has been removed off and looks like filler or grey/silver paint patched up. Either needs the rear of the bus respraying or needs the Crimson treatment.

The branding and some of the paint probably came of with the rear ad it used to have.

I was always led to believe that all NX vehicles had an interlock system. The last ones that didn't being the Optares.

The Tridents DO have an interlock system, it is possible to open the doors just before the bus has come to a complete stop. However, the bus will not move untill the doors are closed.
