Good bit of recycling there then and good it lives on in another 'D' reg Metro. Has 9951 left the fleet aswell or is that still at MS?

Did 2957 take 9959's engine or was it not in a good enough condition for that or maybe to repair 9951?

On a different note completely, before the 'C' reg Lynxes etc what buses did WMT/TWM use as driver trainers? Were any MK1 Metros used?

2957 had a refurb engine put in by Ronnie and is still good.
The one from 9959 has been removed as a spare for 2957

That would have been good to learn to drive in!!! We're they repainted as driver trainers? Anyone got a photo of such a bus as a trainer? Cheers

Thanks for finding that. Funny to think that a very similar training livery was still being used on some of the buses 25 years later!
