I mean get real, bet the driver looks a bit of an idiot now. Although have not heard the whole story, just saw it on the telly.

The headline should read as follows

QuoteBus stopped because of woman breaking Coinage Act without reasonable cause

I see the loony left has done their best...again!!

Thing is the driver is within his rights to. Thing is for other companies they don't have the cash machines NX have so they have to manually sort through the cash them self.

1p and 2p coins are only legal tender for up to 20p, so the driver was well within the law. However it is a bit petty, and sometimes common sense should come into force. He shouldn't get into any trouble though. I really hope he doesn't!

Within his rights but a complete **&^%^% er and back side wipe. It's a public service and like 80% of general public will think.... hello common sense. I can hardly imagine a lot of general public who pay and keep these services going (when they use them) feeling any sympathy for how stupid he has made himself look.

Corrected it for you...

Anyway if you'll excuse me, I'm off to finish my daily mail

Really can't be asked with grammar etc on a forums like this. Corrections in your opinion.  Interesting debate though.  The Daily Mail actually reported the story as well before get into all this Guardian readership business. Looks like the mass of the press think the guy is an idiot.  I want him to appear on something like "Have I got news for you" to try and justify it. Ha ha.

Can't say I noticed It in the Mail...obviously in small print below the anti EU stories...

What's wrong with a bit of debate and banter for Christ sake. Sorry i meant for heavens sake.

A fuss over nothing... neither the bus driver or the passenger come across very well after this. Common sense should have prevailed but why not deal with the matter with the bus company instead of running to the press...
