I love Walsall buses

I'm not gonna link to every image for obvious reasons, but I've uploaded at least 100 NXWM photos from yesterday, and still have a lot more to upload. There's also a few Diamond ones already up, with a few more remaining to upload along with some Claribels and Arriva.

Still debating whether or not I should get Flickr Pro? ??? I'm holding off for now, but last night I had to delete a few (frankly, atrocious) photos that I took at Buses Festival 2017! :(

I'm all for "good riddance to bad rubbish", but the sentiment gets lost and I won't see how my photos have "evolved" so to speak. Nevertheless, onwards and upwards.
Check out my photos on Flickr & Instagram

Nice shot  :D Was going to try it myself back in the summer with a 9 branded 61 but seeing as it always seemed to be in shadow on sunny days, I never got round to it, probably better to try like you have here on a dull day

I would say yes to upgrading. As soon as I saw the news, just went ahead and did it as although my earlier photos from a few years ago aren't as good, I wouldn't just want to loose them, as you say for sentimental value. Pro is very good if you are interested in views, telling you daily views on photos on individual graphs, including where they have come from eg Flickr directly, or links from other social media / websites. Not sure whether you have this without pro, but today I discovered that you can search through your own photos, by filtering though date taken, very useful if looking back for specific photo, especially if you have 1000s like me !

It's all down to personal choice but even with users leaving, I can't see any other website seeing so many users uploading transport photos. The groups and albums are good features that I understand are different on sites like Instagram ?

I'm planning on upgrading in a week or so when I can afford it, I've only just gone over 1000 photos, and while there are a handful of bad ones, I really don't want to lose any.

Cheers :) Yeah, having checked the weather, I, too, was a bit weary of shadows being cast from the dominating walls and greenery on either side of the viaduct.

I'm glad it worked out in the end, but even composing the photograph posed two dilemmas for me: do I either keep the scenery in the shot, or have a greater focus on the bus itself? Obviously, from the photo, I chose the former. After all, it's the viaduct that *makes* this shot, in my opinion.

I also appreciate your opinion on whether or not I should upgrade to PRO. I'm glad we agree on not really wanting to get rid of old photographs.. I had considered a few options, but just getting PRO upgrade seems the most efficient - if at a cost. ::) Thanks, again. :D

PS I do have an Instagram for my photographs, also. ;) It's a great platform for today's age; I was surprised as to see so many bus/rail enthusiasts on Instagram, like myself. The only downside to this is that (being more popularised) as an app, image/video quality gets lost during upload. They seem to appear fine on the website, however.

I can resonate with that. Obviously, upgrading to FlickrPRO is not my priority at the moment, but I would like to have it in the near future. As mentioned above, I use Instagram as another platform for my photos, so at least they're never unseen!  ;)

Also, nice photographs. :)
