Does anyone have any hobbies that they do, outside of buses i.e. Sports, stuff like that

For example, my other major hobby is Airfix modelling as i have my dad to blame for that  ::). To be honest, in the 5 years i've been doing this hobby, i have got dramatically better. My current project is the Revell 1:48 scale Dassualt Rafale M, that i won from a Tombola (Price of kit when new (1999):£34.99, price i got it for (Nov 2014):£1.00 ;D)

Here are the photos so far:

Same as me. If i have a bit of spare time while i'm near Marston Green, i go onto the train bridge and watch the planes take off, haven't actually been on one though ???

Snooker. Loved it for years, bigger interest than buses. When we move into a bigger house I'm going to try and get a half size table in my room! Also love table tennis

I've also always been interested in property and always fancied a career as an estate agent, something I would consider if I decide to drop out the bus industry (something which is looking more and more appealing each day!)

Yes snooker for me to, though only to watch, not very good at playing it. Favourite player at the moment, Judd Trump and least favourite is Neil Robertson (arrogant Aussie).

Also enjoy watching darts, been heaven over New Year with so many tornaments on the tv. Claim to fame, Martin "Wolfie" Adams visited my local pub a few years ago to play some of the darts team and i refereed the matches.

Unfortunately, since my mom was taken seriously ill last year, haven't had much time to get out and about on the buses which i have always enjoyed!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

I enjoy a bit of website development now and again. I'm currently working on a dating site at the moment (ZoomeeLove.com) and also a couple of android apps as well.

I also occasionally like to write fiction (at the moment I'm working on a story about a 24 year old man who has been unlucky in love and starts a website to find that "someone"

Good topic to have started!  :D

I'd say swimming, going clubbing with friends, socializing, eating out and music!!

I also like exploring new places abroad, practising the languages I speak (French, Spanish and Italian). I love travelling and am looking forward to spending the whole of next year living and working in both France and Spain!!  :D

I love France and everything French, my dream would be to become bilingual between English and French, I can have a conversation in French but still a long way to go for perfection

Same here!!!!  :D Brilliant language and culture! I'd say I'm pretty much fluent now, but then again I'll have to be with having a job and living over there, which is the only real way to properly learn a language! :)

When I was at school (many years ago now I must hasten to add), I did study French and Latin.

There is no way I could communicate verbally with anyone French, but I'm finding in my line of work now, that I can almost understand email messages being sent to me in French, without having to run them through Google Translate first.

The other advantage as well I'm finding now from having studied Latin, that when it comes to other European languages, like Spanish and Italian, it makes reading those languages easier, even for something as trivial as understanding signposts and directions. I've never studied Spanish, and could not verbally communicate with anyone Spanish, but I can read some Spanish text and have a gist of what is being said. Not bad, considering people told me studying Latin was a waste of time as it was a 'dead language'.

My locals:

11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
