Tridents 116 and 119 were collected by PVS this week. The only withdrawn vehicles still owned are now 102, 106 and 121 (and 4023, or what's left of it!)

365 is regaining its roof for use in service.

We will also be running a trip to Showbus this year.

SHOWBUS 2019

It's that time of year again!

The Green Bus will be attending Showbus at the Hertfordshire Showground on Sunday 29 September with Volvo B7TL 395 V95MOA.

We'll be offering pickups at our depot in Hockley at 07:00, and Station St, Birmingham at 07:20. We will then head straight onto the motorway and aim to arrive by 10:00, with a short break at a service station.

The return fare for travel will be just £10. Please contact myself or V102MOA (on here) to book your place.

I have been advised anyone arriving on an exhibit gets a reduced entry fee of £10 (everyone else pays £12) and under-16s arriving on an exhibit get free entry.

As always please drop either of us a message if there are any questions.

How come Green Bus hasn't operated any normal routes lately? I remember they used to operate on the 50 and the 22 (Birmingham to Merry Hill. I can see why that was withdrawn for more than one reason.) Is it due to the age of the fleet amid the Clean Air Zone or other factors?

Probably didn't work out for them, those routes went years ago. Can't have been very profitable otherwise they'd still be around today, presumably the school services/private hires are more profitable.
