This year at WN, Tridents are on the 2,11 and 255/6 which would otherwise usually be single deckers on a usual Sunday service (And were on Boxing Day last year also)

4140 is out on WA89 today. I think there were Tridents on the 89 last year also.

Any sightings of double deckers on the 4/4M today?

Sh4318

The 83/89 is double deckers, I fully expect the 127/128 and 48 to be double deckers. There's an enviro 400 on the 80, as well as 4225
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

The Fox 4846

33 Asda Queslett via Perry Barr, Kingstanding, Pheasey
7 Sutton Coldfield via Witton, Perry Common, Boldmere

I believe every single Walsall route, with the exception of the 34/39 (which have Scanias on) are double deck operated today.

This includes such rare routes as the 4/4M, 311/313, 29 & 70.

Noticed in Walsall so far...
4/M - 4126, 4129, 4131, 4136, 4138, 4306, 4308 & 4534
29E - 4734
40E - 4871
51 - Unusually has a couple of Tridents & standard Gems on, in addition to Enviros
70 - 4305 & 4764
89 - 4140 & 4681
301/302 - 4326, 4532, 4684, 4685, 4763 & 4767
311/313 - 4127, 4327 & 4682

Why there double deckers on for?

Many routes have been allocated double deckers today across the network, maybe they expect a busy day with all the Half Price sales etc

Don't forget, Boxing Day can be quite a busy, but also slightly unpredictable day. If you've got double decks sat in the garage, it's better to be safe and use them, rather than be leaving people at stops when the next bus may potentially be in an hours time.

Don't forget there are NO London Midland Rail services running today >:( so you best use a bus or struggle to find parking spaces..........

Love it, deckers everywhere except just (13:30) saw 7033 leave town on the 904E
...And then later (14:30) back in town as 907
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

The 213/214s have gone missing.

Ironically they went missing at the same as last year when TGB were doing it...

Coincidence?
