The company will be making a big announcement on investment in new vehicles next week and freshly painted 4731 will be used

What day will this be?

I haven't seen the bus. It could just be standard livery with slogans on the side, and I haven't got a date/time yet. All I know is I was asked to drive 4731 'one day next week' for an announcement on next years investment.

Ok so what do we think? 2 questions.  Will it be standard livery or a refreshed/updated livery and secondly what would we like it to be. Standard livery or a refreshed livery?

danny

Logic tells me standard, I mean we've just about got the whole fleet in the red and white, all be it with variations, but this is NX, anything is possible  :)

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Slightly off topic, but weren't there plans for a WB Corporation liveried bus this year to celebrate the 100 year anniversary?

NXWM BCT one off. Hahaha

What now they realise they should have done something a little bit more special for 100 years than just a few buses on display in the city centre?
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

That's what it was for - I hadn't realised!

Face it LS, you're unlikely to see an LS E200 in BCT livery to resemble one of the old PS2s that used to be there!!!

Come to think of it, an E200 in each of BCT, West Brom, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Midland Red livery (Pensnett for the latter) would be fabulous!! How about the mid to late 60s Midland Red livery??
