The 11 instantly springs to mind, especially at rush hour

Although Hybrids would be good for the Outer Circle, with its high Pvr and the cost of hybrids at around £300k/each, it would require an investment of circa £13 million to re-equip the route.

If NXWM transferred their entire hybrid fleet to AG for the 11, the environmental benefit which could be claimed would surely be huge, just based on the number of major intersections with Birmingham's radial roads and resulting congestion. (Albeit very unpopular in Harborne, Dudley, Sedgeley and Wolverhampton  ;D )

Given that Harborne is at a virtual standstill in the morning rush hour, the environmental benefits of the B5's stop start system must already be huge. I've travelled from the Junction, Harborne, to the White Swan, Edgbaston before almost entirely on electric power, with the traffic being so slow moving that the Diesel engine barely kicked in.

Seems like justification for an LRT to Birmingham from Harborne and beyond - any old railway formations available?!! Oo it could link to sprint at the Hagley Road crossing!

Far too logical to be considered as an option, I'd say...
