843 is on the 27

Oh wow it didn't take long for YW to gain this then.

Sorry, LS. He should have wrote WN 27.

Does it really matter what I put? We all know which garages have got the enviros. Use your loaves......

Not always...

If some one had reported 1898 on the 6 yesterday (which it was) Was it between Sutton and Walsall (bus was at Walsall till last week) or Yardley Wood where bus is now. Vehicles do move garages and can end up on a route with the same number within a couple of days

37351ml

One from yesterday, 519 worked the 23.15 48e, 533 was also out on late night 47's/49's.

Yeah I clocked a B6 on the old 448 yesterday.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Yes, it does matter. Don't assume everyone know everything. Look how LS easily got mistaken by thinking it was the YW 27. This is why we all use garage codes to avoid confusion.

Merc on the 5 today. 1687? It was a distance so that's what I thought I saw...

Did you mean WB5?

1687 is in the training fleet!

It was 1667, replaced a defective 4114

Typo I guess! :P Oh well, been corrected now, quite a 'Blast from the (not so far off) past', when they used to operate the 451... :)
I always thought that the 451 was primarily operated by Presidents ,with the odd ALX400

You need to go back a bit further (around 2004) when the 451 had branded Mercs

Wasn't it earlier than that, i.e. 1999-2001ish?

Trident 4609

5401 was driven into Wolverhampton Bus Station by an engineer who then took 4547 (Which was stood on Stand U) back to garage. It then pulled onto the 126 stand for a few minutes before pulling out of the station Not In Service.

I'm sure i saw 4547 on the 126 earlier on so 5401 must have gone onto the 126 as a replacement vehicle. Still, Its very rare to get an E400Hybrid on any route at WN other than the 1 and 59 on Sundays

WB garage fire was in late 2001 when 451 branded Merc 1623 was lost in the fire. So it was pre late 2001 when the Mercs were branded for the 451
