555 on WN 59E, departed Wolverhampton Bus Station at 18:27.

Normal mate. Worked afternoon peak extra running board 59/14 despite appearing to miss its first trip.

Today (Wednesday 10th September)
841 on WN81. Seen in Wolverhampton Bus Station at 07:55am

They are not on the system yet, but I think all 4  may be on the 81

Cheers Tony  :) Will look out this afternoon to see if I can see the others

Also this morning:
1677 and 2070 on WN59. Saw 1670 pulling into Wolverhampton bus Station about 8am and I saw 2070 on Wednesfield Rd in Heath Town going towards Wolverhampton around about 08:10am.

1670 is on late night board 59/11.

842 also on the 81

Now that is a noteworthy working!
If it finished the board off it will be
15:10 from Merry Hill to Walsall
16:36 Walsall to Blackheath
17:35 Blackheath to Walsall

It has actually done the complete running board since 8am including a 4H, surprised it has only just been spotted

843 is on the 27

Any idea what time you saw it? I presume its on one of the boards usually operated by a B6 but I'm asking on the off chance in case its on a late night board which works the 25A/C too

754 is on the 48 currently en route to West Bromwich
just seen in Bearwood about 12pm

48 needs bigger buses than that, come on... Hope this isn't gonna be a regular thing
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Local routes: 12/A, 48/A

Does this mean that deckers are going to be regulars on the 4M or are they experimenting?

It was last one out of garage, so presumably nothing else was available at the time. If a driver found a fault on the allocated Scania and there wasn't another one in the garage then he had to take whatever there was.

And let's hope he went the right route to Bradford Place!

Seriously though,  could any of Walsall's Bradford Place services support double deckers on a regular basis?

Stuharris 6360

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

In terms of getting a decker around the route, then every route other than the 38 should be able to support them (obviously due to the interworking this adversely impacts most 34 & 39 journeys as well). The 311/313 have used them in the past & todays working has shown the 4, 4H & 4M are capable. I guess loadings on these services don't justify them receiving double decks at the current frequencies?
