After 5515 was on the 29 on Monday i was wondering if double deckers could be more of a common sight on the route? does anyone know?

Bloody hell that's rare! (Well apart from the late night Sundays when the 23:35 supposedly comes off a 22/3).

Was that posted in the noteworthy workings thread at all? Don't seem to recall it being posted?
There was an E400 (490*) that was posted as doing a trip on the route a week or two back

Is there any reason why deckers can't be used, or is it just the route doesn't need deckers?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Well, they used to be used before the route changed between Weoley Castle and Northfield. Can't imagine anywhere along Swarthmore Road where it'd be a problem
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Spectras in particular used to be a common sight on the 29 back in the day

I would love to see d/d's back on the route, they are needed at times..
