would I be right in thinking single deckers are starting to become more usual on the 79? 2021 on there today.

From my own observations the X64 is still primarily single deck although doubles on there are no longer the rarity they once were.

I saw 1679 on the 59 on Wednesfield High Street this afternoon, with a Trident (4590?) in front of it.

Sorry, I missed out an important detail; I wasn't thinking straight. The Trident was on the 25C when I saw it.
