They are 2444 to 2451 Winston, they have all been delivered and are in use on the E1.

They are 2444 to 2451 Winston, they have all been delivered and are in use on the E1.

yes 2444 to 2451 are for the E1, but the ones that were spotted above 2451 are for route C3.

Not strictly on topic, but I see Abellio have retained the Tfl route 407 & have won the 201 off London General.

@Winston Yes being discuessed on one of the London Bus Groups how Abellio are really making in roads into London at the moment, rumour has it they are putting in really low bids and that they don't pay there drivers as much as other companies in London.

@Stuharris 6360 Abellio seem to be going from strength to strength, they seem to be consistently winning new work / retain the bulk of their existing work & only lose the odd route to others.... Surely at some stage in the not too distant future they're are going to need another garage or a sizable extension to an existing one. Ye, I've seen those rumours, or Abellio directors have friends within Tfl tendering departments, brown envelopes full of cash etc, etc.

Realistically, it could be that Abellio are putting in lower bids, as Abellio/NED railways are looking for the profit margins Arriva/Go-Ahead want etc. Surely Abellio need to pay their drivers near the going rate, otherwise they would always be struggling to fill positions & would struggle to recruit new staff for all the tender wins as not all existing staff will TUPE across to Abellio

@Winston Just been trying to find out what rate of pay Abellio offer, but all the website is is "excellent rate of pay".

Interestingly the website also says "You should have a minimum of 12 months visa documentation or longer before the date of expiry"

When it was Travel London it was only 10p per hour more than NXWM's top rate
