First Leicester is set to receive 68 new electric single-deck vehicles by 2024, after the city council bid for them under the ZEBRA scheme.

Some E400's are on the way to Leicester for a new route in new year. Apparently an "Amazon" contract? (Usually Arriva do these so good on First getting in there!).
Looks like the fleet numbers are from the same batch that are already in Leicester.

33697 (Frequent Fourteens) was seen on the M6/M69 in Coventry this morning.
Apparently it is route learning for the new Amazon service.
Definitely interesting as it's much further out than Leicester services usually run. I guess exact details will be kept under wraps.. as it could well be a private contract (which is just like Centrebus and the Bradgate Bakery Service which runs as BB).

These are all from the same former Manchester batch that in Leicester are all branded as "Frequent Fourteens"

One of these buses did track on its way from Sheffield down to Abbey Lane today! However it tracked under the 33696 ticket machine.
See the bus times website, then click on 33696 and look for the 7:30am odd journey!

It's time with First Eastern Counties now finished, ALX400 32059 (W219 XBD) has been preserved and will be returning to Leicester.

Looks like these plans have changed. 33725 has reportedly gone back to Sheffield, while today I found myself stuck behind 33720 on the 54.

33725 never arrived according to this very website (with official fleet moves).
As mentioned before.. it was only speculation from Facebook and details were not confirmed.
I do know there is 4 so I'd expect the remaining one to come into service soon.
Amazon service starts on Monday.
