On loan or transfer I don't no

Its still at Yardley Wood then. Been there for 5 days now, along with 4066. Again, no idea if just on loan or transferred, but if Tony put this on the on loan thread, then maybe just on loan

Scania Omnilinks seem to be the main vehicle type on there now but B6's and B10's still appear alongside the Omnilinks.

I'll have to disagree with the main allocation of Scanias on 39. I go on 39 almost every day, I see most B10Ls, one or two B6s and Scanias. B10L is still the main allocation on 39. It is the same to 34 and 38.

I agree. The 34/38/39 is still majority b10's with two or three b6's and whatever is left is omnilinks

Cheers @P419 EJW and @Ashley :)  I guess its just the time of afternoon i see the 39's (I usually see Omnilinks late afternoon)

A driver told me there is a Merc on the 2 and a Spectra on the 4? If anybody can confirm that would be great :)

1662 on WN 59, seen it just before Wednesfield Town Centre at 16:05, heading to Wolverhampton.

Not rare however noteworthy - 4737 on WA89, seen it with flashing hazards (assuming having a break before departing), in Wolverhampton at 15:30.

I travelled on the 34/39 today and only noticed one OmniLink (1891) out on the 39. All other vehicles that I noticed were B10s.

On a weekday, in theory, by my count there are 40 Scanias required to cover the 41 boards that operate the 4, 301 & 311/313 services. As WA only has 42 Scanias that doesn't leave a lot of room to play around with!

The 34/38/39 (including board 159/02) require 13 buses, with in theory a pool of 22 B10s/B6s to choose from. Of course, given the age of these vehicles it may be that they struggle to get that many - or it may be that WA prefer using full size vehicles on the routes (although that contradicts the proposal of E200s on the route!).

Given that there should only in theory be 2 spare OmniLinks at the most, I would suggest the 34/38/39 should still be mostly B6/B10, as for more OmniLinks to be used, the 4/301/311/313 would have to be 'downgraded'.
