One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I want to go to Solihull using as many busses starting from russels hall road by the spar bus stop
222/246 to Brierley Hill/Merry Hill
255 to Wolverhampton
1/126 to Dudley
311/313 to Wednesbury
40/47/47A/75/79 to West Bromwich
4/4H/4M to Oldbury
120/128 to Bearwood
11C to Witton
7 to Newtown
8A/8C to Saltley
14/55/94 to Chelmsley Wood
966/97A to Airport
900 to Yardley
11C to Kings Heath
27/50 to Maypole
49 to Shirley
31 to Olton
37 to Solihull

here is some buses you can get on
is there a reason why you want so many buses?

The 31 doesn't go to Olton, to link with the 37 you'd have to change in Acocks Green village, or walk from the top of Gospel Lane to Warwick Road.

Still, the whole topic seems a little pointless and not well thought out (no fault of the contributors I must add), but really why travel from Russells Hall to Solihull on 'as many buses as possible' and then not think about getting back!

I would stay in a hotel then on the the next morning and get back. In a quick way

Stu

Well, for a 'quick' way back, you'd better get:

37 from Solihull to Birmingham
9 from Birmingham to Halesowen
297 from Halesowen to Russells Hall

;)

Or, to be pedantic, just get the train from Solihull to Stourbridge Junction, and get the 246

True, but then he would have to pay for a train ticket on top of the bus fare from there!

Or just get a nNetwork day tripper to cover bus + train fare, £6.20. Yeah, I'm being too pedantic for my own good, lol

Couldn't I get the £4.00 daysaver

Well yes, but then you can't catch the train. And you'd have to buy another Daysaver the next day, and only travel on NX buses.

I'd do 37 to Birmingham, then 126/140 to Dudley then 246 to Russells Hall, I reckon it'd be a little quicker. Depends of course on the time of day, though, but in the evening the 140 provides a perfect changeover onto the 246 at Dudley. (unless the 140 is late!)

Lukeee

Isnt the 957 quicker to Birmingham from Solihull?
