Here's an idea. To catch the maximum number of buses possible, get off every bus after just one stop, and catch the next one that comes along.

I don't know... It seems that he only wanted to go to Solihull and the replies only said Point A to Point B. What about suggestions on getting back home in a "quick" way?  If he did all these journeys in a full day, assuming 9am till 6pm. How will he get back home? I'm just puzzled that he -just- wants to go to Solihull, even it is a travelling day. Unless he books a night in a hotel in Solihull...
