Loan bus KX58 GSX in stunning yellow has arrived. Replacing 0797 which is about to be withdrawn and while we await a full time replacement, which is due soon.

Why did you withdraw the X26 as it was a contender for the X96 (NXWM)?

Obviously it wasn't making enough money.

Now the 228 towards merry hill on the other hand............

That may be the case, but also it may be that the timings didn't help as it did often followed the X96 towards Dudley. It was a stupid timing system as it also followed the X96 back to Merry Hill or the X96 was a couple of minuted behind it.

But to make the timings more reasonable, they would have had to alter the 226 timetable as well, which probably wouldn't have been allowed as the 226 is also operated by Diamond and they operate a 15 minute frequency.

KX58 GSZ is in use at Hansons (on the 231 today). This is the one Banga had.

YX65RHA is now allocated to 228. the 250 is normally done by one of the 61 reg`s

Hi and thanks for asking your questions.
1.Will refer you to answer on page 1 Question 9 on our pages. Still the same thoughts.
2. Fleet numbers, now bear with me here.
0`s are all mini darts,(Important for allocations as some routes are too tight for anything bigger) older buses feature regs ie 0389 and the newer plates use the year ie 0030.
Where there is more than 1 of that year we use 0520,0521 etc. Simple!
1`s are longer Darts and again fleet numbers feature the year/1-52 then the number we have in fleet
of that age ie 1520/6.
2`s are all 29 seat Enviro 200`s  though the 2640/1 have been used on the larger variations(yes i know its a15 plate) and 2151 should maybe have been 2150? Hey ho.
3`s were Enviro 300`s.
Thats it really.
New vehicles.
We have another bus away at painters being prepped.Reg details later,and the loan Orange bus is going back.
