QuoteWith tendered contracts, my understanding is that the route and timetable is set by TfWM, with maybe some input from the operator.

And to think that TfWM will one day set timetables and routes for all bus services when they become franchised!

Don't worry, we've had the same problems with the 169 in Birmingham for the last year or so, which also struggles to keep to time - not through any fault of the drivers, but simply becoming delayed due to traffic issues notably in Solihull town centre, Shirley and Kings Heath.
Hasnt that route been constantly changed in kings heath, I'm sure it didn't last a month on institute road

Co-incidentally I have used this service a few times recently, I came to terms with it being around 20 minutes late at school & college kicking out time.

All journeys had a handful of passengers, I would imagine those who do not have access to mobile real time information may have given up.

SC publicising in the Coventry paper today what has been mentioned on here some while ago.

Residents will see a major change to Coventry buses as a 'trailblazing' £140m project takes a step forward. Stagecoach will be rolling out 64 new buses in the city next year, which have been described as 'the most modern in the UK.'

No news yet from SC Rugby when elec buses will start running?

Outside the depot there will be road works from 20 - 30 January by Eclipse Power Networks. Guess this is for the power supply upgrade for the new buses. If so likely be at least February before they start running, may even later?
