39689 is currently (since the 4th) unable to display 55 Nuneaton on its blinds and has to go round with 55A on it instead, something that is causing a lot of confusion amongst passengers who are already confused by the service changes.

Not sure if they're just resting/being prepped for elsewhere, but I have heard whispers of school work possibly being taken on, there's not really anything else for them to go on if the 48 is getting the new stuff next year though and E400s are a bit new for that. I suppose that all will be revealed in due course...

Fleet Changes

Vehicles sold to A H Hardwick (dealer) are Tridents 17037/76, 17127, 17613/14/17 and 17694/96 along with Volvo B10M training coach 52434. Trident 17729 is reported out of use at Kettering awaiting return off loan to Stagecoach West. Recent ADL Enviro 400 transfer from Stagecoach West 19108 is allocated to Kettering whilst 19129 is in the Reserve Fleet at Rugby. Dart SLF 34628 is no longer awaiting disposal here and has been returned to service at Kettering. Dart SLF 35180 has transferred from Corby to Leamington, releasing Enviro 200 36759 to transfer from Leamington to Nuneaton. Optare Solo 47404, which had been in the Reserve Fleet at Kettering is now allocated to the main fleet at Corby whilst MAN/Enviro 200 39699 is back in the main fleet at Northampton allowing Optare Solo 47510 to return to Nuneaton.

Nuneaton's new buses seem to now be the full size MMCs and not the Midi ones as originally reported... That will make them the first company owned full size buses new to Nuneaton since the B10Ms! It'll be good to actually have full size buses on the 48 at last...
