@DiamondDart - Yes Thandi have registered the 311 quite early. As far as i am aware their is no timetable available for the 311 yet on Traveline or any other websites but i am sure that the timetable will become available soon.

@DartSLF - I agree with @WN about Thandi. They are a very good company. They always have polite friendly helpful drivers / cheap fares / gives change / nice vehicles / etc. I have certainly never had a problem when i have used their bus services. The route 334 and route 335 services seem to be doing quiet well and i really hope that their new route 311 service is successful which i am sure it will be. I believe that Thandi are getting rid of some of their older mk1 darts because they are not DDA compliant and it is easier for them to buy newer vehicles rather than upgrading their older mk1 darts vehicles.

Does anyone on this forum know what has happened to the Thandi Travel low floor mk1 Darts - R122 RLY / R136 RLY / R163 VLA / P156 SMW / P159 VHR / P160 VHR / TJZ 2842 (P161 VHR) / P255 SMW - have they been withdrawn or have any of them been converted to DDA compliant. Thank you.

Think they're all now scrapped but some may still be withdrawn on site.

@Solo1 @Ashley 60171 - Thanks for the info.

So it appears that the current Thandi Travel bus fleet now consists of 12 vehicles - MX54 BLU / HV52 WTD / HV52 WTF / Y152 NLK / T77 NND (Y368 HMY) / T88 NND (Y373 HMY) / T99 NND (Y376 HMY) / Y661 NLO / Y663 NLO / Y835 TGH / TBZ 5873 (X197 FOR) / S519 TCF - hopefully i have not missed out any vehicles.

Also does anyone on this forum know what the PVR of route 334 is and what the PVR of route 335 is.

Thank you very much.

PVR 6 on the 334 and 1 on the 335.

I'm told Y663NLO is now in fleet livery and MX54BLU was out today in dealer white.

Correct, it was out on the 334. Had an interior similar to first

@Ashley 60171 @WN - Thanks for the info. I wonder why they have 12 buses when they just require 7 each day. I wonder if they might start to operate more routes in the future. I know that they are starting the route 311 service soon - i do not think that the timetable is available yet though - does anyone know what the PVR of the 311 will be. Also i see that the route 334 service is run on the Thandi Transport license while the route 335 service is run on the Corporate Express license. Does anyone know how this works. Are both routes run from the same depot and do they use the same vehicles on both routes. Thank you.

I don't know why two different licenses are used for service registration. I wish I were that clever. I too am trying to figure out the PVR for 311 will be but I would suspect that a couple more purchases arrive during January to ensure they've got enough spares.

@Ashley 60171 - Thanks for the info. Yes it would certainly be interesting to find out why they use two different licenses (one for the 334 and one for the 335). The timetable for the 311 is not available yet but i am sure that it will be soon. Also does anyone know if S519 TCF has been converted to DDA compliant - i am guessing that it probably has - but i am not 100% sure.

Solo1

#115
S519 is off the road they might convert  it to dda spoke to a driver who was driving the 335

@Solo1 - Ok. Thanks for the info. That is good to hear that S519 TCF has been converted to DDA compliant.
