I thought the only difference was style of window:
07 regs having the bigger, unopenable window
57 regs having the openable window that the majority of enviros have

The rear upper deck window is different as well. It's in a sort of oval curvy shape on the early ones, and it's more like the ALX400s on the newer ones.

Also the location of the ticket machine is different on the 07 batch, as well as the door vynils.

I'll keep a look out. On another subject, why do most people think 4370 is the best trident?.

Not sure about 4370, but the best Presidents are 4023 because it has no speed limiter, 4033, 4042, 4050, 4080 and 4115. 4080 has the LED stopping signs as the newer ALX400s. Having said that, 4370 onwards might have them.

My Favourite Trident Is pretty obvious I think, Favourite Ultra was always 1511, Fave Liberator; ZF 1436, Voith 1457 :D Enviro 4741 (notice a theme here yet?) Favourite Scania 1926, Favourite Gemini (although I haven't been on it for some time now) 4492, Favourite President: 4026, Favourite B7RLE: I'm quite fond of 1767. That's about it I think :)
