That's what I was looking for.
I thought it looked a little like it but I wasn't certain. Thanks Nathan. :)

No worries :) I was going to say a Scania N40UD with E400 bodywork but i can 100% tell its on a ADL chassis)

Ashley

It's an ADL Enviro 400 Nathan. A 12 plate So could be any one of 18 based at Lancaster

And now Bedford has an open topper as well...

Not sure about their use of the word 'destroyed', only the top deck has been sliced off.  Wonder if Cambridge require a new open topper... 17692 X702JVV is the Trident this time.

Cheltenham now has an open topper. Swanbrook Buses ex-Stagecoach London Trident 'X303 NNO'

It went of for some distance before the driver pulled over

Some of these de-roofings are puzzling. On that one, to the untrained eye (i.e. me), there looks no way a double decker was ever going to fit under there.

Exactly, @Mike K. I'm sure, knowing you're driving a big vehicle (Not even a high one, just bigger then a car) you'd be worried to fit under these things. When I drive my jacked up Jeep I squince as I go under low car parks, so God knows what these drivers where thinking when they thought 12' 6" is 14' 5"?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.
