Does any1 know where The 16 Service either Stops to Do Driver Changeover or Terminates along Green Lane in Hamstead please?? Cheers.

All 3 operators on route 16 terminate at the Hamstead Road / Green Lane junction, the turning at Green Lane is wide enough for buses to turn around in the road.

The 16A terminates at the Scott Arms.

Relief points for NX are the stop just before Handsworth Wood Road / Wood Lane close to where the Outer Circle crosses, the road is wider at this point so relief is easier.

Relief for Diamond bus is Upper Dean Street by the open air market.

GRS do not relief the drivers take a break with the vehicle.

Thanks Just wanted to Know where to wait as I've got an Interview with GRS Tomorrow. Altho Initially He Did Say Green Line but Can't find that, altho I believe it refers to The Old Green Bus depot before they moved upto Hockley??

Yah the 16 relief point is good since the rota has 101 on it also so they can get the 11 to Grove Lane where the 101 relief is or the 11 to Perry Barr back to garage

The standard of driving from GRS is shocking. I saw one overtake a queue of traffic waiting at traffic lights at Pershore St on the opposit side of the road, just so he could get near the front of the queue.

Random, unrelated question. But why don't NX run all 16 journeys to Great Barr, Scott Arms?

"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Maybe cause other services service that area already
I understand 16A journeys only operate so buses can return and come from depot easily

Debatable... Rocky Lane is easy enough.
I'd actually say it's more to appease those few passengers that were inconvenienced when the 16A stopped going straight up the Old Walsall Road to Scott Arms, still seems strange to me that that version of the 16A never really worked out
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
