1828 on 50 Druids Heath. Sure it was 1828 although that isnt a YW vehicle where 1928 is. Still unusual for a SD on the 50.

Was it in NX or TWM livery? 1828 is in TWM livery and 1928 NX livery

1930 was on the 50 today, quoted on the Yahoo WM group

Sorry. It was at the terminus in the middle of a pack and all I could see was the fleet number and 50 on the destination as I drove past.

If there were not enough E-VUK Metros for the 50 then other Metros would presumably be allocated

Correct - 15 buses would not be enough for the 50. I think now John meant 2975 - 2989 were ordered with the intention of being part of the 50's allocation

Sorry i didn't mean as the allocation. I just meant have Omnilinks (or B10's) ever worked the 50 as i can never remember seeing one and i have never seen one reported on the forum on :) the 50

was it 4828? I think, from the corner of my eye, it was. I saw it on Broad Street in the early morning of my school run.

One way to tell 4828 apart is that it is missing connection bars/logos on the offside

I have a feeling it was one of the repainted ones but I could be wrong. I saw it twice today, and neither time did I take much notice of it.

They were the Travel Your Bus ones. 1474-9 I think were branded for the 50y. Forgot about those

After TYB was absorbed into the main fleet and 1474 - 1480 were repainted into red, it was still common to see these on the 50 in TWM livery for some time after.

I didn't think Spectras were unusual on the 28?

One hasn't appeared in the week for some time. They do appear sometimes on a Saturday however in the week it seems pretty rare to see one now :)

Has the 50 ever had Single Deckers at YW apart from when the pope visited Cofton Park and the 50 was fully sd operated?

Not as an allocation.

The furthest back I can remember Mk2A Metrobuses (E-VUK reg), which only lasted short time, before the H-LOM Scania's, then Spectra, B7TL, Trident's, when the route moved to Yardley Wood from Central, and then the Enviro400s that are on there now.

There were only 15 E-VUK Metros (2975 - 2989) weren't there? Was that enough for the 50?

A total of 13 so probably other metros would be allocated
